Guest Facilites

Sitting Room

In the comfortable sitting room you will find books, games, DVD’s, jigsaws, Sky television, and a Bose music system. Please ask if you wish to use these during COVID-19 so that we can maintain sanitised provisions.

Groups wishing to share a time of worship with singing, or pianists, will also find the electric piano available for their use.

We have flip-charts, whiteboard and digital projector and screen should they be required. It is also possible to play through the television from your computer.

Dining Room

Meals are shared in the elegant Dining Room, and are taken ‘en-famille’ to encourage friendship and fellowship over food.

Garden Room

This is a quieter space with glazed walls giving views across the lake and with a panoramic perspective of the grounds, and the sculpture Winters End. Doors lead on to the south facing terrace. Here guests will find loungers, tables and chairs, and even umbrellas. On fine mornings breakfast can be taken al fresco, and on dry evenings, the terrace is where drinks can be enjoyed.

Bird, flower and tree identification books and stargazing charts are available as are binoculars to heighten your experiences.

The Grounds

Extensive gardens and grounds stretch to over 6 Acres including wooded areas with walkways and glades to sit in, a small trout lake, a meandering beck, tennis court, and other areas of interest to while away the hours, to sit, paint, read, relax or meditate.

There is prolific wildlife and the night skies are a sight to behold - this is one of Britain's Dark sky areas with a local observatory.

We have a secure cycle store complete with repair kit and cleaning facilities.

If you are holding a group event we can also offer a Gazebo, a 6mx6m marquee, wood-burning pizza oven and barbecue.
As there is no mobile phone reception, a phone is located in the Hall for the use of guests.
