In the comfortable sitting room you will find books, games, jigsaws, Sky television, and a Bose music system.
Groups wishing to share a time of worship with singing, or pianists, will also find the electric piano available for their use.
Meals are shared in the elegant Dining Room, and are taken ‘en-famille’ to encourage friendship and fellowship over food.
This is a quieter space with glazed walls giving views across the lake and with a panoramic perspective of the grounds, and the sculpture Winters End. Doors lead on to the south facing terrace. Here guests will find loungers, tables and chairs, and even umbrellas. On fine mornings breakfast can be taken al fresco, and on dry evenings, the terrace is where drinks can be enjoyed.
Extensive gardens and grounds stretch to over 6 Acres including woods areas with walkways and glades to sit in, a small trout lake, a meandering beck, tennis court, and other areas of interest to while away the hours, to sit, paint, read, relax or meditate. There is prolific wildlife and the night skies are a sight to behold - this is one of Britain's Dark sky areas with a local observatory.
